I don’t do New Years RESOLUTIONS… why?! Because I’m a realist … I believe that ANY moment you can’t say “hey I’m doing something different” it doesn’t have to be a new year...a new week…or a new day… at any moment in time YOU can change YOUR path!! Make any time or any day your NEW!! With that being said we all have a new chapter in life ahead of us,,,
2022 was insanity at its finest for me! I always end the year with “whew next year is my year” but we will always have trials & turbulence…. Just roll with it…learn from it…. & in the end I hope you have a giggle or two because none of us make it out of this thing called life alive in the end. My biggest accomplishment this year wasn’t
material things money or anything of the nature, it was letting go of a past that had consumed my daily life for far too long, as long as we let others invade our peace they win, and I decided I am the winner not them,,, Everything DOES HAPPEN for a reason …cherish those reasons because they all come together in the end. You are never too old to let go of things or start new & it doesn’t have to be a ”new year” it can be any one of the 365 days of the year :)
2023 so happens to be taking me to somewhere I’ve never been before or even dreamed of but I’m welcoming it with an open mind and if it fails … well that’s okay too , Life's full of failures that make our successes even more rewarding,, If it fails at least I tried, and then again If it succeeds then that’s great too! One thing about me is - I always roll with it & have a joke or two along the way! I’m blessed. I’m not perfect. I hope all of us have a great year!!

So, there is a lot of talk about kids identifying as cats or dogs “furries”, and this is hilarious.
. Imagine if you can, that one of my boys told me they thought they were a cat? Sitting at the supper table son says: “Dad, I think I’m a cat! Dad: “No son, you’re a boy! “My son: “No dad some of my friends at school identify as cats, they call themselves furries, and so do I !! It’s my right and you can’t do anything about it!” Dad:
“OK!! “My son: “Hey, where’s my supper? “Dad: “Your supper is in the cat food bowl in the corner. Now get off the table you mangy cat!” My son: “What???”Dad: hits him with a broom, “get off the table furball!!”My son in the corner looking bewildered! Me to my wife : “Is that cat neutered”?? My wife: “I will make an appointment!! “My son: “What??? “
Dad: “Your mother and I have decided we don’t want a house cat, so get out to the barn and hunt mice! ”My son: “What???”Dad: brandishes broom, “NOW, to the barn you stupid cat!!”My son: “Dad, I think I’m a boy! ”Dad: “I thought so, now sit down and eat your supper!!”Spay and neuter these animals. Stop them from reproducing. Today’s society has enough fruit loops already. End of story!

I don’t give a Rats ass, who this offends, but I stand by it. War is coming, sooner or later! You the Government!! You are all a bunch of coward pansy asses,, You raised the cost of living so high that both parents are always at work, rather than spending time with their kids (single parents stand no chance). You took God out of schools. Parents were told 'No you can't discipline your kids'. Well, now most of those kids are rude and out of control. You shall reap what you sow! We have taken a whole generation and turned them into selfish, entitled brats who have no respect for people, property or authority! You deem people with terminal illnesses and some with only a few months to live…fit for work!!! You allow our veterans of war to go homeless and hungry but give out millions to foreign aid!!! You save drug addicts over and over again but refuse to give free diabetic supplies to those who need them to stay alive. You bend over backwards to be politically correct, too scared to say enough is enough, in case you offend someone. You put the retirement age up so people must work until they drop. You take care of prisoners and give them everything under the sun (food, medical, education, representation, money, rehabilitation) yet you cause the elderly, those that have paid their debt to society and their families, to go broke caring for them either at home or in a nursing home... THINGS NEED TO CHANGE!

Your faith they say is supposed to hurt like a broken heart, Like a love that is just out of reach, It's a part of being human. The pain of hope, the miracle of grace, the heavy weight of grief, the fact that one way or another the hardest lessons in life seem to find us all at some point in life, and that time will come to us all to humble us, to take away things we were certain we couldn't live without or people we thought we couldn't, the greater your faith the heavier the burdens,It hurts like hell and it should,at least a little because pain is a constant reminder of life and how we should live it, Hopefully we all live it with more compassion these days, reserve some of it and grace for everybody we come across, because we're all on a path , we're all trying to find our way to somewhere,we all struggle and sometimes it's just easy to get side tracked, to get lost , to forget who and where we are , where we've been and where we wanna go in life,we all need to make sure we help others whose struggle is more than ours, not to make life harder for them than it already is, help them back on their feet and not kick them down, we all gotta make sure nobody gets left behind , But you know what ya'll it seems when you're at your worst people show you who they truly are..The helpers the friends the family the strangers they all take off a mask. When you have nothing to offer and everything to lose,thats when they show their true colors, and that's why it never hurts to help somebody in need , I hear all the time well if it's not your business then don't worry about it but ya'll sometimes we gotta make it our business and do the right thing, good humans still exist , be one for no other reason than you can :) because at the end of the day it's usually the person with the weight of the world on their shoulders that smiles and says "I got this " :)

A lady comes home from her doctor's appointment grinning from ear to ear. Her husband asks, "Why are you so happy?"
